LABOUR PARTY RELEASES NEW PCC LIST

The National Chairman of the Labour Party (LP), Julius Abure has announced the release of a new and more comprehensive list of the Party's Presidential Campaign Council (PCC) for the 2023 election.

Abure made public the new list of 1,453 members at a News briefing in Abuja on Wednesday, with Chief Doyin Okupe retaining his position as the Director General (D-G) of the Council.

A retired Inspector General of Police, Mohammed Zarewa becomes the Chairman of the Council, while a former PDP Governorship candidate in Anambra State, Oseloka Obaze is to serve as the Campaign Manager. 

Also key in the PCC appointments are; Alhaji Yusuf Maitaima as Deputy Director-General (North), Denzel Ketenbe as Deputy Director-General (South), and Clement Ojukwu as the Secretary of the Council. 

Yunusa Tanko is the Campaign Spokesperson; Isaac Balami is named the Deputy Campaign Manager 1, and Eyitemi Taire, the Deputy Campaign Manager 2.

The LP National Chairman said the Council will be inaugurated on Friday, October 28, 2022 ahead of the official flag-off of the Party's Presidential campaigns in Lafia, the Nasarawa State capital on Saturday, October 29, 2022.
