The Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), Presidential candidate, Alhaji Atiku Abubakar has met with the Governor of Anambra State in the South Eastern region of Nigeria, Prof. Charles Chukwuma Soludo at the Governor's official residence in Awka, the State capital.

Atiku's meeting with the State Governor is part of PDP flag bearers political engagements ahead of the Presidential campaign rally in the State.

Governor Soludo is of the All Progressives Grand Alliance (AGA), the ruling Party in Anambra State which has dominated power in the State, in nearly 17 of the 23 years of democratic governance in Nigeria.

Anambra is the home State of the Labour Party (LP) Presidential candidate, Mr. Peter Obi and the first State in the South East region where the PDP Presidential candidate, Atiku Abubakar is holding the 2023 presidential campaign rally.
