The Labour Party Vice Presidential candidate for Nigeria's 2023 general elections, Senator Ahmed Datti Baba has expressed concern over the several attacks on the facilities of the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) and Labour Party supporters across country.
Datti condemned in particular, the brutal killing of Victoria Chintex, the Labour Party Women leader in Kaura Local Government Area of Kaduna State in the volatile Northern region.
The Vice Presidential candidate who was addressing Journalists on recent ugly political developments in the country, notes that the burning of electoral materials and attacks on its supporters were dangerous signals on the way to a successful, free, fair and credible polls.
Datti called on the relevant authorities to be more proactive in handling the situations before the country is thrown into a political darkness.
