The Police in Lagos has released the result of the autopsy carried out on the corpse of Ifeanyi Adeleke, the three years old son of popular Nigerian singer, Davido and his fiancee, Chioma Rowland, showing that he died as a result of drowning.
Lagos State Police Command Public Relations Officer, Benjamin Hundeyin on Saturday, 5th November, 2022 said: ''Autopsy has been concluded. It confirms the boy (Ifeanyi) drowned".
The Police spokesman further revealed that the two suspects arrested in connection with the sad incident are still being questioned, but denied speculations on social media that Nollywood actress, Eniola Badmus was arrested in connection with the case.
On Monday, 31st October, 2022, tragedy struck in the family of the famous Adelekes, as Nigeria's talented musical artist, Davido and fiancee, Chioma Roland, lost their only child and son, three years old Ifeanyi, after drowning in a swimming poll at his Banana Island residence in Lagos.
