President Buhari Sacks NDDC Sole Administrator

President Muhamadu Buhari has approved the immediate sack of Effiong Akwa as the Sole Administrator of the Niger Delta Development Commission (NDDC).
This is contained in a statement by the Director of Press, Ministry of Niger Delta Affairs, Patricia Deworitshe on Thursday.
No reason was given for the removal of the NDDC boss who was appointed in October last year.
President has also directed the constitution of a new management team and Governing Board of the NDDC.
According to the statement, the Board nominees will be announced later.
The statement was silent on who takes over the running of the affairs of the Commission until the reconstitution of a new management team as directed by the President.
