Thousands of youths stormed the Lekki Tollgate axis of Lagos on this Thursday to mark the second anniversary of the #EndSARS protest that claimed several lives.
The youths displayed dummy coffins, bloodstained Nigerian flags at the #EndSARSmemorial procession
The procession passed through the Lekki Tollgate, the scene of the killings that took place on Tuesday, October 20, 2020.
Reports say Policemen shot teargas canisters to disperse the procession while tens of the youths were arrested by security operatives.
There was no incident of violence while the procession went on, though traffic was disrupted in the Lekki axis of Lagos.
No casualty has been recorded at the time of this report.
