Tinubu Drops Adamawa Presidential Campaign Coordinator.
*Babale Replaces Binani.

The protest by the All Progressive Congress (APC) Executive Committee in Adamawa State over the appointment of Senator Aishatu Dahiru Ahmed, popularly called Binani as the State  Presidential Campaign Council Coordinator, has resulted in her sack in less than 12 hours by Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu, the presidential flag-bearer of Nigeria's ruling party.

The APC leaders in Adamawa, which incidentally is the home State of the presidential candidate of the major opposition PDP and Nigeria's ex Vice President, Atiku Abubakar, had rejected the appointment of female Federal lawmaker as the Coordinator of the Presidential Campaign Council (PCC) in the State after accusing her of singlehandedly selecting members of the Council.

Though some reports claimed that Senator Aishatu Ahmed voluntarily resigned the position, it was gathered from a top official at the Tinubu/Shettima Presidential Campaign headquarters that Tinubu personally directed that Binani be replaced with a former Deputy Governor of Adamawa State, Martin Babale.
